Headland has K-12 education with Headland High School for grades 9-12, Headland Middle School for grades 6-8 and Headland Elementary School for grades K-5. In addition, Headland has several facilities for PreSchool children.

Headland High School provides a wide variety of core subjects and electives for grades 9th thru 12th with emphasis on preparation for further educational opportunities. There are Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as vocational courses to prepare students for real-world opportunities.
Headland High has a Navy ROTC program, marching and concert band as well as sports activites in football, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, golf and track.
